Saturday Morning - 8:30 to 12:30 p.m.
Come to the Book Swap exchange in the Cumberland Lounge. Remember to bring up to three books to trade with friends.
Session I - 8:45 to 10:30 a.m.
Become a Budding Chef in the Cloister Cookie Cutter Class! With your own chef hat and the right ingredients, you will get to make and take some of these wonderful treats back to the room with you. Yum! Yum!
For 8 year olds only:
Please Pass the Salt is great! It is an etiquette course taught by Mrs. Carolyn Luesing. Mrs. Luesing makes this time FUN and there's great Cloister food. Lots of giggles and grins are promised in this session. It will make your mom and dad happy, too!
Session II - 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Come to Flying High and learn to make your own kite! The fun will be overflowing during this session. Remember to go see the Surf's Up demonstration later in the afternoon.
Session III - 1:30 to 3:15 p.m.
Treasure Hunt time with some of the bigger "pirates". Follow clues and hunt treasures for prizes to keep. This is definitely a Must!
It's time for Surf's Up, the professional Kite surfing demonstration! Come see the latest craze from Australia and the West Coast in surfing.
Pizza, Build-Your-Own Sundae party and a very special event with the Amazing Puppet People. Phillip Majano and Angela will be bringing their favorite friends who will perform "Monkey Bubbles", "The Dancing Jukebox" and more!
There is a bus to Christ Church if your parents plan to attend.
Session IV - 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Time for the "La Tea Da" tea party for you and your friend. It's going to be a blast!
For the 8-year-olds, it's time to attend a session with Chuck Krulak, retired general and commandant of the Marine Corp. This is a session where he spends time talking with you. No parents or grown-ups are allowed!!! This will definitely be a life-changer
