Morgan Middlemas

Morgan Middlemas has spent the last 12 years working and living in Washington, DC.  After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Morgan joined the Office of the Majority Whip in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Beginning in 2001, Morgan spent two years working for President George W. Bush in the White House as a member of the Homeland Security Council staff. Morgan left the White House 2003 to work for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad, Iraq.  Morgan additionally worked at the U.S. Department of State before leaving public service to work in the world of business.

Morgan’s current venture, Everyday Haute, was created in 2011 with her business partner and mother, Lynda Middlemas.  The company’s first line of upscale gift bags and accessories will debut in January 2013.  The company’s first iPhone application, Luxicon, will also debut in early 2013.  In addition to preparing for Everyday Haute’s winter launch, Morgan is a partner in her family’s film production company, Five Smooth Stones.  The company’s first production, Undefeated, a documentary produced by Morgan’s brother, Rich Middlemas, was released in 2012.
